Weekly/Monthly Activities
Regular events for children and teens at Greenwood Public Library include:
- Story Time, a preschool program for ages birth to 6 years old. Join Miss Donna and Miss Rebekah for stories, songs, and very cool crafts. Story Time happens most Wednesdays at 10:30 to 11:30am. Contact Donna Carter at 349-5309 for more information!
- L.E.A.P. (Literacy Education Assistance Pups) Program - Read to the Dogs: drop in anytime between 6:30 and 7:30 Thursday nights and read to Baxter the Great Dane, Miss Tootsie the Greyhound, Comatose the Greyhound, Hank the Labrador Retriever, or Gracie the Golden Retriever. Open to children of all ages - come in to practice your reading and have a tail-waggin' good time! L.E.A.P. nights are most Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. - Yu Gi Oh: Monthly program for ages 10-16. Build your best dueling deck and come to battle! Evening includes the raffling of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. These gaming nights occur the last Friday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm. Contact Donna C. for more info.
